My Name is Mrs. Tilton. This is my sixth year teaching. I went to Kennesaw State for four years then moved back to Augusta to marry my high school sweetheart, Cliff. I finished at ASU. My husband and I had our first son, Jackson in September of 2010. Our second son was born December of 2015. I will talk about all three of these guys throughout the WHOLE year! I also have 4 fur babies. I love science. Throughout this year I will show you how and why you need to learn and know everything about science in your daily life. I find it fun and interesting. We will do some hands on activities. I expect the best of your ability in my classroom. I am here after school to help you with anything you need. I am here to help you so do not hesitate to ask. I can't wait to work with you this year.

1 inch Binder with dividers– This is absolutely necessary! Each unit will have a packet that goes with it with all your notes and classwork inside. It should be kept in this binder in the designated area of the classroom (so you cannot lose it!)

Scientific or Graphing Calculator
If you have to purchase a calculator for this class only, I would recommend getting a TI-30XS, or even better, a TI-36X Pro, as these models will allow you to see multiple lines of data, which will make your life a lot easier. If you choose to purchase a Casio calculator, be warned that I am not familiar with all of the functions of a Casio and may not be able to help you learn how to use it.
